The next Beginner Classes start on Thursday July 15 at 7:15pm. $100 for 10 lessons, Club Membership, a book and lots of fun and new friends

Standby Player Show Item (+/-)
A standby player will be available for the Monday and Wednesday evening sessions (except when there is a Teams session). The Club will provide a partner if you come to these sessions on your own. You need to be at the clubhouse by 6:55pm and it will be appreciated if you are able to leave a telephone message on 4053 5534 in advance.
Pauline Wurzel (ph: 4058 2402) provides the Club's traditional partner finding service.

Supervised Play Show Item (+/-)
Don't forget that once you have finished your initial lessons, you can continue practising on a Thursday in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. All club members are welcome to come along and practise their bidding/playing/partnership skills. It is a good opportunity to improve skills, try new systems and have some fun as well. Some members are currently unwell or not mobile enough to travel to our clubhouse. They are missing out on the social interaction and mental stimulation we all enjoy with a game of bridge. Ursula Thiessen is looking for some volunteers who would like to play occasionally at some of our member's homes. We currently have 2 people who would love a team of 3 for a visit. Contact Ursula (4032 2195) who is creating our new "Home Visit Volunteer's List".
